Bailiff's Fund: Storm Ciarán
The Bailiff’s Fund has been established to support individuals and families who have been displaced and have suffered hardship as a result of Storm Ciarán and who need short term aid to help them through difficulty.
The closing date for the second round of applications is the 31st January. Applications should be made online and will be reviewed by after the closing date.

Bailiff’s Emergency Fund Criteria
The fund will not cover items covered by insurance
Examples of what the Fund could cover (non-exhaustive list)

Essential items not covered by insurance – clothes, furniture
-
White Goods – cooker/fridge/washing machine

Storage for household items if displaced by storm

Moving expenses – van hire/carpets etc

Unexpected expenses due to being unable to live in own home

Insurance excess
Not normally considered

Fences
-
Tree felling – unless imminent danger

Sheds/outdoor furniture
